These rocks were so neat! You just want to explore all over them. Climbing is strictly prohibited, so we stuck to wandering between the formations. We went on a Saturday morning and arrived to the parking lot by 7:45am. There were already several groups out, but it didn’t seem overwhelming. It’s a smallish area and by the time we left, it was already feeling crowded.
There isn’t anything else around the park. It’s also a long drive for ~1 hour of hiking around. All that being said, I definitely think it was worth it. It really doesn’t feel or look like Colorado. Quite a little surprise in the middle of nowhere.
