MOUNT FALCON PARK

TRAIL MAP

Castles, mountain views and a regal dog makes for a good hike. Mozzy was feeling extra royal on this trek. I actually plugged in to go to the east trail head, but google maps decided I needed to go to the west side. Which was fine by me because it was beautiful. I also found that the part of the Castle trail was closed off due to mud. So if you were coming from the east trail head, you wouldn’t get to see the castle.

My original plan was to hike from the east side to the west side. Since the trail was closed, I decided to do all the trails on the west side. We hiked Castle, Old Ute, Devil’s Elbow, Meadow and Tower trail. There is a great picnic shelter (Eagle Eye Shelter) on Tower trail that has an amazing view. There is a lot of history in this park and I will leave it up to you to learn all about it when you go.
